Jackie Granus possesses a unique blend of commitment, passion, business expertise, enthusiasm and timely experience in the areas of imported apparel and footwear marketing, strategic development, product design/development, merchandising, and sales.  She is a respected professional within the footwear industry and with consumer retailers.

Jackie has been involved in the footwear, apparel and accessory industry for over 25 years. She initially began her career as a retail buyer in the sporting goods industry and then moved into the importing/wholesale side of the business in product development for sports apparel and accessories at Converse, Inc. Her strong fashion sense and color expertise moved her from the apparel segment into marketing Converse’s Women’s Shoe Business and then was promoted to the Group Marketing Manager for Converse’s Children’s Business which she is most known for. Her passion for children’s footwear was recognized by the shoe industry and the National Shoe Fair awarded her the “Most Forward Product in the Children’s Fashion” for the highly successful “Conasaur” footwear collection. Under her leadership Jackie grew Converse’s children’s footwear category in 18 months from $11 million to over $38 million in sales.

From Converse she went on to Kangaroos Footwear in St Louis, MO as Vice President of Footwear Marketing where she inspired an innovative line of NWA licensed wrestler footwear geared toward the kids market.

Bata Footwear Worldwide of Toronto, Canada recognized her industry expertise and she joined their team in the role of Vice President of Marketing to oversee Bubblegummer’s, a leading children's footwear brand in Canada, South America, and Europe.

In early 1996 Jackie accepted the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Minnetonka Moccasin Company of Minneapolis, MN. Initially, Jackie managed the U.S. sales force while she influenced product development. Then in 2002 she was promoted to Senior Vice President where her primary responsibilities were to oversee all the imported product development for sandals, clogs, moccasins, winter boots, slippers, handbags and hats. In addition, she developed and sold imported branded ‘make-up’ products for major key retailers such as Famous Footwear, J.C. Penny’s, DSW, Steinmart, Coldwater Creek, Bass Pro, Gander MT, and Nordstrom’s Rack.

Throughout her career, Jackie has demonstrated that quality, great fit and comfort need not be at the expense of fashion. She is a member of the Two Ten Footwear Foundation and active participant and spokesperson for several industry philanthropic organizations.
